Southern Jazz and Sweets is the brain child of M. Latrell  or the "Singing Chef." Her love of music, food, agriculture and art is expressed in many ways including her first business, Desserts by Latrell and Menia's Music Moments--her live music show.  

She is  multi-talented and works very closely with leaders throughout United States working to solve issues surrounding leadership development, farming, hunger, food safety nutrition education and cooking education.  She is inspired by her family and the food that she grew up eating in her hometown of Milledgeville, Georgia. She is a proud graduate of Florida A&M University.

M. Latrell is a jazz vocalist, motivational speaker, and a chef  who teaches others how to live better lives. She also teaches entrepreneurs how to start and sustain their own businesses.
