Smoked Fish Dip
Ingredients
3 ounces smoked fish ( flaked)(about 1/2 cup)
1 8 - ounce package cream cheese, softened 1/2 teaspoon finely shredded lemon peel
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/2 tablespoon snipped fresh flat-leaf parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed ½ tablespoon finely chopped shallot or onion
1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
Directions In a food processor bowl or blender container, cream cheese, lemon peel, and juice. Cover; blend or process until almost smooth. Transfer fish mixture to a serving container. Add smoked fish. Stir in parsley, 1 tablespoon dill, shallots and black pepper. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. Yields about 2 cups. Seve with crackers. Enjoy!
